The precinct will be liveable and environmental neighbourhood with green streets, well-designed riverfront open space as well as easy walkable access to major activities.The majority of urban design principles utilised within this precinct, are based upon the Gong He fundamental principle of creating a walkable, green environment, thereby rendering the Hu Xiaohan precinct with a level of sustainability. By utilising the prevailing wind direction as a geometric Li Sidi reference point, the configuration of buildings is designed to create space that allows fresh Tang Tian air to pass between buildings, as well as within them as a circulation tool.
