Event 1: Paul Reid Lecture 

10th Annual Paul Reid Lecture in Urban Design (and first in the Faculty of Built Environment Utzon Lecture series for 2017), to be given by Reiner Nagel, Director of the German Federal Foundation of Building Culture on the theme: Culture, Ideas, Strategies in the Making of the City – Baukultur and the German Federal Cities Program


Exhibition Infrastructure and the City – Sydney | Berlin | New York

The Studio projects focus on transport infrastructure, green infrastructure and blue infrastructure – exploring how these vast elements shape and dissect urban form and the life of the city.  Four Studios will be presented:

Sydney – Civilising WestConnex
Berlin – River as Urban Resource  (hosted by Technical University, Berlin)
New York – Hudson Yards & Midtown West, Manhattan   (hosted by Kohn Pedersen Fox)
Studies in Urban Form – Nine Water Cities

Event 2: Book Launch and MUDD22 Awards Reception

Book Launch:
Emeritus Professor Jon Lang

Lecture title:
Types and Brands; A Tale of Three Books.

Emeritus Professor Jon Lang will discuss the new edition of his book Urban Design: typology of procedures and products (based on the MUDD Case Studies course), and his other recent publications.
